It is only when you learn that social media is far bigger than a platform to socialize, that you realize that there is people making money, building brands and growing businesses off it.

There are many other social media platforms across the globe and others coming up every other day that the list is almost endless.
Social media marketing: Social media marketing refers to the use of social media platforms to connect with your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic. Social media marketing (SMM) is therefore a type of marketing where one can market products and services of any kind.
How is this marketing done?
Simply put, social media marketing involves publishing great content on your social media profiles, listening to and engaging your followers, analyzing your results, and running social media advertisements.
Having realized that there’s many people spending so much time scrolling through social media platforms like you and I, the market place was then brought closer to us. As a result, social media marketing has provided companies with a way to engage with existing customers and reach new ones while allowing them to promote their desired culture, mission, or tone across the globe.
